Simply place the .exe file in any folder you wish and launch it from there. Firewall settings ----------------- As WyeSoft My IP needs to connect to an external server to determine your IP address, you will need to ensure that any firewalls installed on your machine or network are configured to allow My IP to make outgoing internet connections. There are no incoming connections, so it is not necessary to set up port forwarding if you use a router. No login details are required and no personal information is sent out, so it is perfectly safe to use My IP when connected to public networks.
