WyeSoft My IP was created using wxLua, which we highly recommend to developers. WyeSoft My IP is a very simple and completely portable application, which simply tells you your current external IP address (your address on the internet), and allows you to copy it to the clipboard with one click.

Portability
-----------
WyeSoft My IP is completely portable and does not require installation.  Simply place the .exe file in any folder you wish and launch it from there.

Firewall settings
-----------------
As WyeSoft My IP needs to connect to an external server to determine your IP address, you will need to ensure that any firewalls installed on your machine or network are configured to allow My IP to make outgoing internet connections.  There are no incoming connections, so it is not necessary to set up port forwarding if you use a router.

No login details are required and no personal information is sent out, so it is perfectly safe to use My IP when connected to public networks.
